Research Study on Breastfeeding and Endometriosis

A research team in Toronto is looking to see any relationship between breastfeeding and Endometriosis - a disease of women and girls.

Via questionnaire and guided over the phone by a research assistant, we would like to ask questions such as your history of pain and habits of breastfeeding, in addition to the number of kids you have had and anything you did to make the endometriosis better (i.e. drugs, surgery, etc.).

It would only take about 20-30 minutes and the cost of the call would be covered by us.

If you are breastfeeding or recently weaned your baby of under 6 months of age and have, or have had endometriosis, e-mail me and I will set you up for an interview.

This work is a collaborative effort of the Centre for Research in Women's Health, and the Universities of Toronto and Ryerson Polytechnic in Toronto, Canada.

The name of the principal investigator is Dr. Lesley Young-Lewis. She can be reached at (416) 979-5000 ext. 1, 6306 EST.
