Ann B. Faust, IBCLC, MBCB, FRCS, BA (Hons), LLLL, DA

Ann Faust has been working with breastfeeding families for the last seven years. She became a board certified lactation consultant (IBCLC) in 2007, and opened-up her private practice "Baby And Me Lactation Services" in 2008.

She has lived and worked in England, Belgium, Finland, France, Rwanda, Turkey, and United States. Since she emigrated from Sheffield, UK to Maryland, USA in 2000, she has worked with The World Health Organization (WHO), Washington Children's and Howard County General Hospitals, Centre for Breastfeeding Information, and the La Leche League. Ann is still one of the code keepers for the WHO, and regularly gives talks at national and international breastfeeding conferences, universities, medical schools, government, and private institutions. She is a current member of the CBM who works on reviewing breastfeeding books and studies.

Ann is an active member of International Lactation Consultant Association (ILCA), Maryland Breastfeeding Promotions Coalition, and La Leche League International.

Ann has nearly nine years of personal experience with breastfeeding to complement her clinical skills as a Lactation Consultant. She is married to Robert and they live with their three children Iona 8, Eleanor 5, Cedric 7 months, in Columbia, MD.

Her three happily -but not always easily- breastfed children taught her more than many of the textbooks she has ever read, and emphasizes, that every mother and baby pair is unique.
