 Liz has been a registered nurse for 14 years and an IBCLC for 6 years. She is the mother of two breastfed daughters: Emma is almost 9 and breasfed 10 months and Abby is 5 and breastfed for 2 years. She currently practices as a lactation consultant part time for a small hospital in the DFW Metroplex of Texas. She has been married for 14 years to a firefighter/paramedic. In her spare time, she homeschools her daughters, plays with her pet chickens, has an organic veggie garden and teaches classes locally on vermicomposting.
