I love this website! I love to see all the mothers doing what is the greatest resource of nutrition for thier babies and the most emotional and physical bonding experiance known to any mother and child. Don't give up ladies I am proud of you. And yes I am still nursing as well, breast feed my two year old and three year old and now my five month old is reaping the benefits.

I am loving breastfeeding my third child, Daniel 6 months old. This site is such a support in a world that still shuns breastfeeding as poor and ignorant. It is such a beautiful sight to see a baby engaged in nursing, there is no more fulfilling time for them. It is hard to imagine never experiencing the closeness and intimacy with my children. I have just weaned my 2nd child after successfully nursing his brother (now 7 yrs) and he for 15 months each. I know there are many who choose to breastfeed longer - and I think that is wonderful. However, for us - this is where we have chosen to make the transition. I cannot thank Breastfeeding. com enough for all of the support and information that I received. I found the site invaluable. I found so much help when battling mastitis several times with my first child and then just fun motivation with both of them. I am battling extreme sadness over ending this chapter of my life.in fact - I'm slowly tearing up now. I am a mother of 4 breastfed children. I nursed my oldest, Ben, for 14 months; he's now 7. I nursed Michael for 1 year; he's now 6. And I also nursed Harmony for 1 year; she's now 3. My baby girl is just 1 month old, and I plan to continue to nurse her for at least a year, maybe longer. Even though I have always been dedicated and proud to nurse in the past, I recently felt embarrased about it. But after coming to your site and reading a lot of the stories and articles, I now feel so much better! It was so nice to read the other moms' stories. Thank you!
