The Nesting Place was founded by Birthing From Within educator and doula Amanda Spakowski, and offers thoughtful care for new and seasoned parents in their childbearing years. Prenatal Classes: Birthing From Within prenatal classes are informative and transformative! Parents will enjoy multi-sensory activities that balance practical information with creative activities to prepare your heart, mind and body for labour and parenting. Content of classes includes pain coping practices, preparing for the unexpected, stages of labour, cesarean birth, epidurals and other medical support, postpartum preparation, and more. Doula Care: As a doula, Amanda supports parents from all walks life at home and in hospitals. Mom and her labour companion receive emotional, informational and physical support during pregnancy, labour and the immediate postpartum.
