ABOUT US / BIOGRAPHY

I am the Momma of 2 amazing children. It was thier birth and my postpartum period that led me to this path in life. We are still enjoying the wonderful time we have together nursing. I want nothing more than to make sure as many mommas as possible get to have that same experience. I am a Certified Lactation Counselor(CLC) and am a Certified Postpartum Doula with DONA. In 2010 I visited The Farm and completed the Midwives Assistant course taught by Ina May Gaskin and the other FABULOUS Farm Midwives. There is no more miraculous moment then watching a baby take it's first breath and seeing a momma look at her precious gift for the first time. I have dedicated my life to helping families with pregnancy through the first year.

Good luck becoming a doula. I live in Indiana. I work at WIC. Most moms I work with do not know about doulas. I know of one locally and recommend her to them. I have four children, natural births. delivered at hospitals with my husband of course and my best friend. It really helps to have supportive people around you during labor!
