I am a DONA Trained Birth Doula serving the Hudson Valley area. I am also a HypnoBabies Certified HypnoDoula, also compatible with HypnoBirthing mamas as well! I am a certified Child Development Associate and have a degree in Child Day Care Management from Penn Foster College and a degree in Baking & Pastry Arts from the French Culinary Institute in New York City.

I currently work serve on the Board of Directors for the national non-profit group The Cloth Diaper Foundation, formerly Miracle Diapers. We assist families in starting out with cloth diapering all over the country. I am also the organizer for the Hudson Valley Parenting Support Group, formerly the Hudson Valley Cloth Diaper Education & Support Group. We hold monthly educational classes on cloth diapering with free resources and samples for parents as well as regular playdates and adventures in the Hudson Valley area. Additional fun gatherings like baking classes, kid-free yoga and mommy time are also a fun part of the group.

I have a wide variety of hobbies and interests but the thing I am most passionate about is babies and birth. I feel that every woman should have the benefit of doula support at their birth and never have to feel alone, scared, or unsupported through such a momentous occasion. My job as a doula is to mother the mother and support the family as a whole. I would love to help you have a satisfactory birth, as you perceive it.
