Bonita Birthing Solutions, the Premier Childbirth Support Organization in Southwest Florida, is an organization of nurses, doulas, childbirth educators, lactation consultants, and an occupational therapist who are trained to provide the highest quality of antepartum, labor and postpartum support, education, and adjunct services to birthing women and their families in southwest Florida. BBS was founded in 2002 by Jaclyn Sieben, RN, HBCE. In 2008 BBS merged with Naples Doula Services, founded by Annemarie Connor, MS, OTR/L, CD(DONA). The main purpose of Bonita Birthing Solutions is to provide our community with the highest quality, evidence-based childbirth education and support services available. BBS strives to bridge the gap between the needs of individuals and the demands of busy institutions in the growing arena of adjunct childbirth services. BBS is committed working in the spirit of collaboration with healthcare providers to help women and their families achieve the birth experience they desire; be it in the Hospital, Birth Center, or at Home. BBS is comprised of a director of childbirth education, director of birth/postpartum support services, and indi-vidual doulas, childbirth educators, professional lactation consultants, and adjunct service providers.
