I became an IBCLC in 1991 and worked as a hospital LC and perinatal nurse until I became a nurse practitioner in 2000 and started working exclusively with breastfeeding mothers. Before I started Lactation Services of Connecticut LLC, I worked in the office of Dr. Christina Smillie, a pediatrician who specializes in breastfeeding medicine.
I am married and the mother of four breastfed children. We have lived in Stamford, CT for 30 years.
