The vision for NV MILC started nearly 20 years ago by a pair of lactation consultants who pictured a place where new mothers could get the personal care and empowerment they need to meet their breastfeeding goals. Our consultants have worked together for many years, supporting breastfeeding families in clinics, academic, community and hospital settings. At NV MILC, they have combined their passion for working with breastfeeding moms with their expertise in nutrition, professional nursing, speech pathology, research and education to create a program that provides families with the information and skills they need to make informed feeding decisions. Our lactation consultants are well-respected in the field. They are actively involved in a number of research projects and provide advanced education workshops for healthcare professionals regarding all aspects of lactation and breast physiology.
