Depending on the area you live in...you may have never even seen or thought about cloth diapers. There are many reasons to consider cloth. Whether it it the reduction of non-biodegradable products in our landfills. The protection of your loved one's skin and body from potentially carcinogenic chemicals & materials. Or the potential cost savings of several hundreds to thousands of dollars. Not to mention, the vast array of choices in cloth, now allow you decide how involved you want to be. Everything from prefolds to fitteds, pockets to all-in-ones, fleece, hemp, wool, sherpa, minky...and the list goes on. You owe it to youself, your baby & our Earth, to look into cloth.

I didn't know that about paper diapers. Cloth diapers are so easy. And they are fun to make too!

I wish we could spread the word. Last year at DE state fair we got a bookmark from the Environmental booth that had various items listed that are in our landfills and how long to break down. We were all surprised at the longevity of diapers- 500 years! Wow.
It is not that hard to use them. Even easier than in the "old days" with the fancier diaper covers, etc. I used them with my children ages 10 & 12. I must admit it was not daily, regular use because of childcare 2-3 days/ week. Thanks for your information to others
