Margot Mann has been helping breastfeeding mothers since 1980. As an IBCLC since 1986, Margot set up the first private practice in Queens, NYC. She set up the Magee Women's Hospital lactation program in Pittsburgh. Margot is a past president of the New York Lactation Consultant Association and Director for External Affairs for the International Lactation Consultant Association. Margot represents ILCA at the UN while an active private practioner as a lactation consultant. Margot teaches pediatric residents, as a faculty member of Columbia University Pediatrics department. The Riverdale Lactation Center offers lactation consultations in the office or home. Special "Stay A Day" consultations that include lunch and a nap are ideal for tired, frustrated, overwhelmed mothers who want help with 2 consecutive feedings in a supportive setting. Breast pumps and aids are available as needed. Breastfeeding Support Groups are held monthly.
