Support tailored to your family for a positive nursing experience: ` gentle breastfeeding classes ` support when baby arrives ` LAM family planning...birth control for breastfeeding moms ` adoptive breastfeeding...even women who have never been pregnant can make milk ` back-to-work planning All services are available in English and Spanish. Rates: $35 prenatal gentle breastfeeding class $50 visit after baby arrives $70 for the pair of visits—one prenatal gentle breastfeeding class and one visit after baby arrives Postnatal visits include telephone follow-up with you and any communication you authorize with other providers. For visits more than 15 miles from Grand Rapids, Michigan, there will be a travel charge of $10 for every additional 15 miles of distance. Areas served include: Lansing, Kalamazoo, Holland, Muskegon, the counties of Kent, Ioina, Barry, Ottawa, Allegan, Newaygo...and more. GIFT CERTIFICATES are available and make great baby shower gifts. For more than 10 years, Amanda has supported families in their homes as an advocate and educator in the U.S., Colombia and Ecuador. She completed the Lactation Counselor Certificate Training Program with Health Education Associates and The Healthy Children 2000 Project in March of 2002. As well as being a lactation consultant, Amanda is a mom with years of personal breastfeeding experience.
