I am a mom of six children, all of whom I breastfed until they were over two years of age. I am a great fan of Niles Newton, M.D. and I still read and refer to her book "FAMILY BOOK OF CHILDCARE." I have a double bachelor's degree in psychology and liberal arts. I have a master's degree in education, focus on special education/early intervention. I have taught in California public schools for over seventeen years; I still hold my professional clear credentials in multiple subjects and special education. I am now involved in several community activities, i.e. nurturing parenting, anger management, substance abuse facilitator, and I am a certified yoga instructor which includes prenatal and postnatal yoga instruction. I was born and reared in Ashland, Oregon.
