Here is a Danish Meatball recipe that is called Frikadeller. They
are so good and a great change from the usual meatballs =)
1lb beef
1lb pork
Mix together well.
Shake salt and pepper to season and add 1/2 cup flour and mix.
Using a blender now and add...
1 egg
1 medium onion
mix it to a mush mixture.
Pour the egg and onion mixture onto the meat,
Add another 1/2 cup flour and mix.
Add 3/4 cup scalded milk.
Mix everything together and it will be kinda soupy!
To cook use a frying pan with margarine in the bottom and then
dip your spoon into the melted margarine each time you scoop out
spoonful of the mixture and place onto frying pan into small
piles and once one side is cooked turn over to cook the other
side.
Once each batch is done place in a pan/bowl and keep it in the
oven on warm and keep adding to it until the mixture is all gone.
The add to spaghetti and sauce. Or even eat the plain!
This does take some time but it is so delicious.
