
Crust
1 1/3 c flour
1/2 c butter, softened
2 T brown sugar (packed)
Grease bottom and sides of a 9" square pan wit Crisco.
Mix flour, butter and brown sugar together and pat into the
bottom. Bake @ 350 degree for 15 - 20 minutes.
Watch carefully ~ crust should be removed from oven when very
lightly browned.
Filling
3 eggs
3 T melted butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
3/4 c brown sugar (packed)
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c white Karo syrup
1 c chopped pecans
Beat together all but pecans.
Stir in pecans and pour over crust. Bake at 350 for 25
minutes.
Cool slightly and cut into squares.
