Polish Sausage Sandwich

Olive Oil

Polish sausage

Hoagie rolls

sliced cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, Swiss)

mustard

Drizzle a little olive oil onto the bottom of a large skillet and heat to medium. Cut Polish sausage link in half pieces and lay each piece in the hot oil.

Cook until nicely browned on one side and then turn over and repeat. Remove from skillet and slice almost all the way through each piece.

Place cut side down on a toasted hoagie roll and top with a piece of sliced cheese and garnish with mustard.

You could also top with some warmed sauerkraut if desired.
