
2 lbs. round steak, visible fat removed
olive oil for frying
1 can Campbell's' Golden Mushroom Soup
1/2 soup can water
1 can mushroom stems & pieces, drained well
5 T ketchup
1 T flour
kosher salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
hot rice
Rinse steak and pat dry.
Add to heated olive oil in a skillet with a lid and brown on
both sides.
Mix together remaining ingredients and pour over steak.
Simmer covered, stirring occasionally for two hours; add
additional water if needed.
Remove, cut into individual servings and spoon over hot rice.
