Hey ladies!
Just wanted to vent...I'm due w/ Dc 2 on jan 25th and it seems as though he's never coming...

I'm turning into one big ache and pain (back, pelvis you name it)...have even tried starting contrax but with no luck...

Trying for a VBAC...seriously getting impatient...

I'm due the 20th. I know how you feel.
Hang in there!! You are sooooo close.

Good luck with the VBAC, I had one with my 3rd after 2 c/s. My best advice is to try and avoid induction if at all possible, interventions are what led to my previous c/s.

What was the reason for your first section??

Woo you are my HERO lol! THanks for the reply. The first Cs was due to many reasons...breech 9lber...high BP...you name it. I gained a 100 lbs w/ my first pregnancy (2 1/2 yrs ago).

This time i'm doing better though. Only neg. is I do have gest. diabetes but otherwise alls well. I guess I'm just worried my body doesn't know HOW to go into labor...w/ my first they did the cs at 37 weeks on the button so i never lost my plug, broke water or even FELT a contrax.

Try to avoid medical induction or just the lil things they say will work (but obviously haven't for me!?!).

Hang in there Katie, are you going for a 2nd vbac? Did it make BF easier?

Your feelings are totally normal. i was able to have a successful VBAC and I still wonder if my body will *know* what to do.

My doctor keeps talking induction if I don't deliver by EDD. I just laughed, and said "no thanks" I would rather wait for the baby to be ready!!

I did hire a doula with my VBAc, and tis time as well...best money I ever spent!

I will try for another VBAC, and yes it totally made bf easier. The discomfort is in another area and it is no problem holding baby on your lap...no worried about pain meds effect on baby, etc.

Is your baby breech this time? You should check out www.spinningbabies.com
It's an interesting read, lol!!
