When did you go into labor?

I'm due the 25th and getting anxious. Just wondering those of you who went into labor on your own How far from your expected due date? Thanks!

Well I know my son was due on the 21st of August and I went into labor on the 5th of August (at 3:00 am). I remember it like it was yesterday. I woke up to go to the bathroom and I couldn't stop "peeing" and to my surpise my water broke and I had him at 3:00 pm August 5th. I was in labor for exactly 12 hours.

I had a few irregular contractions on my due date (Sept 7th) that picked up and became regular around 5:30 that night. I gave birth at 4:30am the next day (Sept. 8th) after 11 hours of "official" labor.

With my first DD I was 3 days late (I was not a happy camper!) I was in labor 7 hours with 1/2 hr of pushing

With my second DD I was 17 days early. (and very suprised!) I was in labor 5 hours with 4 pushes

DD was 2 weeks early - waters broke but no contractions & hadn't dilated so eventually induced & had 12 hour labour

Twins 6 weeks early - Contractions possibly started 3.30 pm but wasn't till 4.30 that I thought that's what they might have been. First boy born at 5.53 which was 13 mins after getting to hospital.. would have been quicker but was not allowed to push until Doc got there!

my first 2 kids I was late. kyleigh was almost 3 weeks late. kayden was 8 days late. kyler was a week early.

Both kids came 4 days before their due date.

My dd came about a month early. My water broke and I didn't start to really feel the contractions until about 4ish in the afternoon....but I didn't have her until the next morning. I had her via c-section after about 15-16 hrs.

ds was a scheduled section, so he was early, but no labor

dd#1 was due on the 9th, she was born on the 6th (she was born on what would have been my parents 56th wedding anniversary, were they still alive.)

dd#2 was due on the 6th, she was born on the 9th. (the 7th would have been the anniversary of my mom's death, I didn't want her born then, and it was September, so I didn't want her born on the 11th, either... she compromised for me and came on the 9th)

THanks for all the encouragement!!! I was just thinking " I bet he doesn't do it on his own and I have to have another C section..."

Now another ?~ Im a SAHM right now (possibly doing some nannying but no seperation from baby) Why is it even though I have a Medela manual pump I feel i need a double electric?


Did any of you go through this? I guess I see it as an insurance policy LOL but the cost is a lil outta budget...DH says im paranoid?:confused:
