Ds will be two years old tomorrow! I know it is a cliche, but it really has gone by so very, very fast. I am so happy that we have had two wonderful years of tandeming (no end in sight, particularly since I am expecting #3 in June :)). I am so very glad that they are both still nursing, particularly since they have multiple food allergies. It hasn't always been fun (particularly with the food allergies ;)) but for the most part it has gone so smoothly--I really feel that this is what we were meant to do. Anyway, I wanted to share with someone who understands, instead of looking at me funny for *still* nursing. :D

I admire you for so many reasons, Dulce. This being one of them. You must be the most patient person!
Congratulations!

I think that is wonderful that you are still nursing both of them. They are lucky to have a great mommy to do this for them!

:blushes: The admiration is completely mutual! In all honesty, though, I must admit that I am not a patient person, but I am very lazy and cheap, and nursing is much less easier than weaning would be. :D

Yes, I always found it easier to just sit down on the sofa and let my dd nurse!
Wow, tandem nursing for 2 years. That's amazing!

Do they still call it tandem nursing when there are 3 children?
Congrats!
I never thought before joining this site about nursing 2 of different ages, but with my 5th one on the way and #4 still nursing, it looks pretty promising.

:DWOW! You are inspiring me! I am pregnant and struggling through the pain to continue nursing my 12 month old! I am very impressed by your achievements and hope to accomplish nearly as much! Thanks for sharing!!!!!!!

That is really cool. I so wish I could have nursed my older one.
