please tell me about your experinces breastfeeding and being pregnant. I just found out this morning I am pregnant the test was very faint but its there. going to get a digital test and take in morning and maybe one tonight. so your stories would be great. any good books or websites to help. kyler just turned 9 months a few days ago.

First of all...CONGRATS!! Happy & healthy 9 months!

IME, with my 2nd & 3rd pregnancy DS & DD self weaned around 20 weeks. I never had my mild really dry up completely. or had pain while nursing. They were both approx 18-19 months old.

It's hard in the first trimester, b/c I 'd be so tired and they would seem to really want to nurse alot. i guess my supply might have gone down a bit at first,.

With this pregnancy DS2 was older. I *convinced* him to wean when I was around 30 weeks, b/c there was nothing coming out, and it was quite painful. He reluctantly agreed with the promise that he could start again when the baby was born and the milk coms back.....I hope he changes his mind.
I'd tandem if he wanted to, but I think it would be easier for me if he didn't.
