A good friend of my SO just had a csec a few days ago.

I heard that she's taking tylenol 3...which I believe has codeine in it. Is codeine one of the drugs that makes newborns sleepy? I remember when I had a csec 5 yrs ago, my mw was sure to not give me anything that would do that, and I know for sure I never had t3's, just 2 t2's and 2 advil together.

I'm not entirely sure of the situation, but her dh is already back at work, and I don't think she ever had a mw, so there's a possibility she may not be receiving adequate bf support.

Any thoughts appreciated, thanks in advance!

ya, i've heard of that....I actually live very close to the city the infant who died of that lived in. She's caucasian, so the chances of that gene being in her body is relatively small.

I was just wondering if it made babies sleepy or not, and interfered with establishing bfing that way.

I'm sure its a co-sleeping risk, as I know how t3 makes you feel...but i don't think she's co-sleeping.

Stay away from that shit kids!
You will be fucked in the end.
Do it for six days straight and you might not stop.
Don't buy codeine (http://www.codeinewithoutaprescription.com)!
