I'm making chili tonight! Normally I would switch the ground beef for ground turkey, but beef is what I had in the freezer. It will be chock full of veggies and perfect for a cold day!
The other night I made lasagna with whole wheat noodles (lot of good fiber), park skim ricotta cheese, part skim mozzerella and ground turkey, and sauce.
Its easy to make a good meals lighter by substituting lower fat ingredients. Whatever I make for dinner, I end up tossing a salad to go with it and dh and I love dressing it simply with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
I can't wait to see others ideas as well :)

I do this too!
100 Calorie snack options are awesome too. I've become addicted to the kettlecorn 100 microwave popcorn. YUMMY!
I use crystal lite and liption to add to my water when I struggle to get it all in.
Spray Butter is good on things when you need it.
Lean Meats
Kashi has a wonderful array of foods on the market chock full of organic whole wheat and lots of fiber. Just watch your portions, calories still add up quickly. They make cookies too!

Here is a list of foods that are great for your health:
Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
Tuna in water
Egg whites
Low Sodium Turkey Bacon
Pretty much any veggies, no corn potatoes legumes, or peas though, they are starchs
Unsalted nuts
Peanut Butter
Whole grain or Whole wheat bread, pasta, wraps, etc
Black Beans
Avoid any white flour foods like pastas and bread. Wonderbread makes Whole Grain White Bread if you don't like the taste of wheat.

With ground turkey, I just buy it, DH or SO doesn't have to go grocery shopping with you all the time. Make it just like you would ground beef, but you may have to add so EVOO depending on the type of pan you use.
Frozen veggies are just as good as fresh. They don't use additives. As long as nothing is added to it, frozen foods are just fine.
Also avoid anything with high fructose corn syrup.

I try to stick with fresh veggies (or frozen depending on time and budget) and fresh meat. I raid my dad's freezer for elk and venison every chance I get and if I can find a store that carries ground buffalo again I buy that instead of ground beef. I'm finally over my soda addiction... it's been replaced by grape juice (Thanks to WIC, I have 20 or so cans in my freezer because they give me so much). lol At least I can water down the grape juice to cut calories and get more water.
I did best on a modified Atkins or on the Curves Weight Management Plan. Basically I did 45-50% protein, 35-40% complex carbs, and the rest healthy fats. I also allowed myself to have some sweet stuff on a regular basis since I tended to binge if I didn't have it at all.
Check out sites listing low gylcemic foods... these will keep insulin from spiking so quickly and telling your body to eat more.

hi ladie,
I have some list of the good healthy food for ladies.
Please see this. I hope you may like it.
1) Oily fish can ward off arthritis :
Salmon, mackerel and so on can prevent the onset of arthritis. You should eat two to four portions a week.
2) Crusty bread may cut cancer
Crusts have eight times the amount of cancer-fighting antioxidants called pronyl-lysine than the rest of the bread.
3) Frozen vegetables are just as healthy as fresh
Although generally speaking fresh is best, providing the fruit or vegetables are frozen immediately after picking, they will retain most of their nutrients and vitamins.
4) Drinking fruit juice can rot your teeth
High fructose levels in fruit can cause tooth decay. Brush your teeth directly after drinking.
5) Fried eggs can cure a hangover
A full English breakfast could be the ultimate hangover cure. The eggs are rich in cystine, an amino acid that helps purge toxins via the liver.
6) Honey combats ulcers
Manuka honey is useful in preventing stomach ulcers, so have some in your porridge.
7) Chillies can help you breath more easily
Capsaicin, which occurs in chillies, shrinks the mucous membranes and unblocks noses.
8) Kiwi fruit can improve your eyesight
This fuzzy fruit is a good source of lutein, an antioxidant that protects your vision.
9) Lemons could help you beat asthma
The UK's 5.1 million asthmatics could find lemons ease their symptoms. Studies in rats found that breathing improved after they inhaled limonenel.
10) Blueberries boost memory
A study has shown that eating half a cup of this fruit regularly could delay deterioration of short-term memory.
