Well your body hasn't had much time to recoup it's vitamin stores and such, so make sure you eat really well and get what you need. Your body will be sure the baby gets what he/she needs, even if that leaves you short And with breastfeeding as well the good stuff will go to the developing baby, then the breast milk, then finally you. Besides that, who can say how s woman's body will react from one pregnancy to another. It is always kind of a shot in the dark.

Congratulations on your new bundle!

I have never been in your situation, so I don't know what to expect but I will second the 'you will be last in line' (behind your pg and breastmilk). Take care of yourself! Congratulations!

DD1 was about 6 mnths when I got preggo for dd2. It is a bit rougher, but so nice to have them close in age! 15 mnths apart here. Good Luck, and congrats!

Congrats on the pregnancy! I was 9 month pp with my first daughter when I found out I was pregnant with my second. I continued breastfeeding my oldest, but after 2 months of doing that, I lost a lot of weight and was getting really sick. My problem was having morning sickness along with breastfeeding. My doctor told me to stop breastfeeding, which I was really upset about, but he said I was really hurting myself by doing it. After I stopped breastfeeding, I felt great, though. My sister-in-law became pregnant 4 months after her first was born, was breastfeeding...continued breastfeeding and did just fine. So, as far as getting pregnant so soon after giving birth, it really depends on your body. You might feel a little tired, but that is probably more because you are getting up with your newborn so much. I would just try to take it easy...well, as much as you can with a newborn :)...and enjoy!

I was once where you are. My first 2 are 9mos apart due to my dd being premature, but it was hard being pg with such a small baby. Like the others said, take care of you as much as you can. Congrats!!

My friend had twins and found out at her 6-week PP appt that she was pg again! Her twins and youngest are 11 months apart! (And her oldest is just 17 months older than the twins!) She and her hubby said it was a struggle for the first few months, but they love it now because all of their kids are into similar things.

Congratulations!!
