Since we have a couple new people here, I figured that it might be nice to do brief intro's about our fertility so everyone can keep track better.

How many time have you been pg?
How many kids do you currently have?
Did you have any fertility problems in the past?

How long have you been ttc this time around?
Do you have any issues that make ttc more difficult for you?
What are you doing to increase your chance of getting pg?

How early do you use hpt's?
Which part of your cycle is worse emotionally: waiting to ovulate or waiting to test?
What is your DH's attitude towards ttc?

What are you doing to increase your chance of getting pg? Tracking, currently

How many time have you been pg? 6
How many kids do you currently have? 2
Did you have any fertility problems in the past? Just miscarry too easily

How long have you been ttc this time around? Since July/August
Do you have any issues that make ttc more difficult for you? Still bf DD quite a bit. When get pg, FVL increases miscarriage risk. Just found out I have insulin resistance so that makes miscarriage even more likely.
What are you doing to increase your chance of getting pg? Just having regular sex - every other day or more - until I'm pretty certain I O'd! I'm not doing temps, but am monitoring CM. I'm on daily baby aspirin to try to help stay pg once I get pg. I'm also starting a diabetic diet.

How early do you use hpt's? Usually 11-12dpo
Which part of your cycle is worse emotionally: waiting to ovulate or waiting to test? Waiting to ovulate
What is your DH's attitude towards ttc? Mixed. He's willing to have a third child since I want another one. But he knows being pg is hard on me - not to mention the miscarriages. We're having to go through a lot more testing and such this time.

We must be on the same wave length Kolby, because I was thinking this exactly thing earlier today! I hadn't thought of adding specific questions though, so you did a much a better job of presenting it!

How many time have you been pg?
I've been pregnant twice. Joey was the first and we conceived him two weeks after going off the pill, then the second time came after 15 months of trying. That pregnancy was identical twin girls that I miscarried at 12 weeks. (Genetic testing afterwards gave us that info.) That was August 2006 and we've been actively trying again ever since.

How many kids do you currently have?
Just Joey, the funniest kid I've ever known!

Did you have any fertility problems in the past?
Only the opposite ends of the spectrum with the two pregnancies.

How long have you been ttc this time around?
17 months

Do you have any issues that make ttc more difficult for you?
We started seeking help about 6 months ago. We discovered that DH has a somewhat low sperm count. Not so low that any of the doctors think it's much of an issue, but low enough that I do. I've had up and down progesterone levels which is why I'm on supplements this time, but other than that all my testing has come back fine.

What are you doing to increase your chance of getting pg?
Once the sperm count was discovered, we switched to the every-other-day plan. Since that hasn't worked, we went with the IUI this cycle and will continue with that until it works or the RE recommends changing the plan.

How early do you use hpt's?
Most months I don't use a hpt because temps don't indicate the need. When I do though, I usually start on 12DPO.

Which part of your cycle is worse emotionally: waiting to ovulate or waiting to test?
I hate the first two weeks. DH's schedule is difficult and ever changing, so making sure we get in good timing is oftentimes stressful.

What is your DH's attitude towards ttc?
When we first started trying, he didn't want me to tell him when I was ovulating. (I felt it wasn't fair that I had to analyze every single sign while he just got to have fun!) But now we talk about it and plan and I keep my chart on the bathroom counter so he can see it and follow along. He asks questions regularly and has even picked up on some patterns that I hadn't. It's been so long now though that we both just want it over and done with. We only want one more child and three years overall since we started trying has gotten to be rediculous. He's the one who pushed for us to start the IUI process because he's concerned about my age (36) and because we simply need to move on from this phase of our life. I kept putting it off because I still had the romantic notion of wanting our children to be conceived naturally. Now I've accepted the fact that if this works, it will still be natural, only aided with a little distance for the swimmers.

Do you have any issues that make ttc more difficult for you? Right now, I'm feeling very vulnerable due to the miscarriages, and I was TTA for awhile because I just couldn't take the thought of another.
What are you doing to increase your chance of getting pg? I don't have to increase my chances. I get pregnant every time I try. I just can't hold on to them.
How early do you use hpt's? I usually start at 9DPO and test + at 10DPO.
Which part of your cycle is worse emotionally: waiting to ovulate or waiting to test? Hard to say. Waiting to ovulate is stressful because if I miss a day of BD, I keep thinking I totally messed up. Wiating to test is very hard, though.
What is your DH's attitude towards ttc? He adamently wants another baby.

FWIW, I'm pregnant right now, but it's early so who knows.
