Born 1/28/08 @9:26 am.
Weight - 8lbs. 9oz. and 21 inches long.
2nd Vbac@2c - thank goodness!!
Unintentionally had a natural Labor & delivery! I wanted the epi, but was 7cm upon admission - went to 10cm in 10 min!!!
Pushed for 13 minutes & she was born. I always wanted a natural birth, but
I have to admit, I was begging for the epidural, lol!
I only needed 2 stitches / her head is soooooo tiny. With DS 2 I had a very large episiotomy, which did not tear, yay.
Stayed at home with my wonderful doula for most of the labor.
DH went to drop the kids at school at 7:30am, when he came back we went straight to the hospital. (During rush hour to Manhattan)
I later joked that her name was almost Queensboro Bridge, b/c
I felt her move down and thought she was coming out when we were going over the bridge. I was very lucky that on a Monday at 8:30 am traffic wasn't that bad...or else she would have been born in the car.
This type of labor was very ironic b/c all of my others were LLLOOOOOONNNNG (36 + hours).
I never expected it!
She is beautiful, looks like her big sister and a champion nurser and sleeper (so far).
I need to resize some photos to upload.
