It's going on two weeks and I didn't have wash board abs, however, I don't want anything bigger than before concerning my tummy. The postpartum support is fair help. Are there any other suggestions. I did get a girdle but it appears to cut circulation off on the left side. I do not want a continuous hanging belly. Any suggestions to make this excess lift up.

Are you saying your only two weeks post partum? It will take time for your belly to shrink back up! Take it easy at first--just maybe take some walks with baby--then after your 6 week post partum check up, start exercising :)

This. Your uterus is still expanded quite a bit. Give your body a rest, mama!

i understand how you feel i have 2 babies 1yr and 3 months apart and my belly barely went down before i found i was pregnant with my second. just breastfeed, wait till after your 6week check up then exercise. one thing i can suggest and it seems to be working for me is to get the abe lounge(about $70 from bjs). i work on it every other day and in 2weeks i honestly started to notice my stomach went down a lil bit plus wear that girdle like its your lifeline because it helps especially when working out. give it time mama and you'll get back to your sexiness. my girdle hurts me also but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do to get what you want.

hey
dont stress i only gave birth 3weeks ago by c-section and i still looked 3months pregnant for the 1st week! now i have the jelly belly to deal with, just take walks and wait for the first 6weeks to pass... i know it feels like 4eva but just relax and prepare yourself for the workouts you'll be able to do soon =)

it'll go down, keep in mind that it took 9 months to get that way to begin with, its going to take some time. im 11 weeks post csection and its not flat, but it certainly isnt as bad as it was 5 weeks ago or even 10 weeks ago...

Not to scare you but I did not get out of maternity clothes until 5 months post partum. Now with baby 15 months old I look better than I did before I got pregnant. Belly does have a little extra skin but nothing I can't deal with.
