My new job will only allow me to pump once a day at lunch. I am a teacher so I dont get "breaks." I have lunch and a duty that I cannot skip to pump. In 9 hours i will only get to pump 1 time. Will my body adjust? Should I pump after I feed her in the morning before I leave or try to pump in the am at work? I am so stressed about this!

I work from 12:00 - 6:00 and go from 11:00 - 7:00 without pumping and my body has adjusted. I pump any where from 8 - 12 ounces a day. Sometimes a little more.

I would try pumping before work, at lunch, and after work. You can also try to squeeze a session in after baby goes to bed.

Do you not have a planning period?

I am a longterm sub so i never know what my day will bring. They are cutting me a break on one of the duties! I will get to pump but not till 1125. That is a long time for me my pads were soaked today!

Your body should adjust. I would pump after you feed your baby in the morning to make sure you are good and empty, then pump at lunch. Make sure your dcp doesn't feed her too much before you pick her up and then she should be good and hungry when you get home. Otherwise you could pump a little when you get home if she's not hungry right away.
