Hi,
I am Melynda and I have a 10 month old daughter Alexandra and my husband is Mike. We have just started ttcing and I am in the 2ww right now. We are still bfing and I hope to be able to tandem nurse. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Welcome! I do want to make sure that you're aware that you may have to use formula when you become pg. Some women are fine with that, some are not. My supply plummetted every time I got pg while bf, which has been 3 times. My supply plummeted at 3.5 weeks pg twice and 4 weeks pg once. For some women, it happens much later, so you could luck out. (Plummeting supply doesn't mean you can't tandem though! DS still nursed despite no milk and was a very happy tandemer when the milk came back!)

Thanks for the advice! We have had major struggles with bfing and have had to supplement and my daughter will not take formula, so I think I will probably start introducing milk. She mainly comfort nurses and from the little I know from a doctor who weighed her before and after she only gets an ounce. I am hoping I don't lose my supply but I am aware that it is a possiblity.

Thanks!
Melynda
