Just wanted to vent about breastfeeding. I have been breast feeding since june 28th 2005 and have not stopped. I am feeling a little drained I work a fulltime job and it is pretty exhausting. I want to breastfeed my daughter as long as I did my son (21 months, I tandem nursed for 3 months or so) but that means I cant stop until October. I want to stop soon because it is so tiring but I am on the fence. Will my relationship with my daughter be different than it is with my son if I stop breastfeeding sooner like within the next couple of months?? Any advice would help. Thanks

Your relationship will be different with your daughter purely because it is a different child. Everyone will have their personal opinions about nursing, but it is your's and your daughters relationship. What is good for your piece of mind/overall health and hers is a decision that you need to make, and if that means weaning, then it's okay.
