So how soon can I test??

I'm on cd23 and I have 27 day cycles. How soon do you think I could test without being crazy.:D

Do you know when you ovulated? Or how long your usual luteal phase is? Do negative hpt's bother you a lot? What brand of hpt do you plan on using?

In general, the advice is to wait until 14dpo. If you don't know when you ovulated, then this would come down to when you expect your period. However, I have been pg 6 times and always tested on 11-12dpo and always got the positive the first time I tested. I don't worry about a negative hpt though. I need to know ASAP due to needing to start progesterone so I don't see it as wasting a test if I test too early. I will be testing on only 10dpo this time. But that's only because Valentine's day is 10dpo and that would be a very cool valentine's gift! Even if I am pg, I know I could easily get a negative when I test then but I figure it's worth it.

If you're testing more than two days early, then I strongly suggest using first response early results tests. If you're using a dollar store test, then I definately wouldn't test before your period is due. If you're using cheapy on-line stick tests that say they show positive 4-5 days early, then I still would wait until your period is due! (I've used a LOT of pg tests and the cheap on-line tests and dollar store tests always showed later than any other tests. I've been know to pee in a cup and put different tests in the same pee. Had to make sure I was pg, right?!)

I'm not sure exactly when I ovulated, anywhere from the 1st to the 6th. Yes the BFN bums me out so I should probably wait intill next week:lol

Well, I tested, Negative. I'm not too bummed out because I know it's still early. I am so impatient, lol.
