to lengthen the luteal phase?

Does anyone know?

I have a fertility supplement http://www.early-pregnancy-tests.com...fertility.html (http://www.early-pregnancy-tests.com/supplements-fertility.html) but the amount of Vitrex is not listed, as it is part of a "propietary blend" so I took the recomended dose of 1 tablet 3 times a day. At Kerry's suggestion I bought a Vitex Chasteberry Seed tincture and the suggested use is 25-40 (that seems like a huge range to me) drops in a small amount of warm water 3 times a day, I am not completely clear, because the serving size is 25-40, but somewhere in that range (?) is 50mg Vitex, which I am taking 3 times a day.

Is that enough?

Is is possible to overdose on Vitex if I am taking too much, and how much is too much, I mean is 40 drops 3 times a day too much, rather than 25 (or 30 or 35?) or much more than that?

I am also taking Folic Acid and Vitamin B6, just to throw that in there.

I should also mention that I am not taking BOTH the supplement and the tincture, I just bought the tincture and the supplement is almost gone.

I would try to clarify your dosage of the tincture, and try to find out exactly how many drops you need to get 50mg of the Vitex. I stick with a pill form of the vitex so that I know exactly how much I'm getting. I once read of a woman who said she needed 2000mg of Vitex (http://www.seacoastvitamins.com/topic.php?health=vitex) to see any results. Generally though, I just follow the dosing directions on the bottle. I wouldn't be nervous to take a little extra, but nothing ridiculous. Also keep in mind that Vitex can take a little while to really help regulate the body. It's not the kind of thing you'll see resuts from in the first month, but it does work over time if you take it daily.
