I'm 8 weeks pregnant and I'm pretty sure I am getting a yeast infection. Is there anything I can do for it? I'll eat yogurt but that won't usually cure me.

Thanks!

I use monistat 3 day - or a generic equivalent. I've already had to treat one yeast infection this pg and I'm behind you! Those dang progesterone suppositories.

That's seriously OK? I can't see a doc for another month because of my crappy insurance situation. I am so paranoid about OTC meds when pregnant. I take nothing! But this is miserable!!

Both my OB and my RE said that the 3 day yeast infection treatment is fine. Do not take the one day. If you're really worried, take the 7 day. I was in a chat the other day and the topic came up. Four other women in the room had also been told to do the 3 day while one had been told 7 day only. You could still call your dr for reassurance. A phone call won't cost a thing! I've taken the 3 day in three pregnancies so far, several times when pg with DD. (I have miscarried 4 times but the pgs that needed monistat were the two that made it and the current one).

Thank you so much for the reassurance! I've been using tea tree oil and baking soda baths with some minor relief of symptoms but I know the pesky candida is still there! I feel better about the 3 day option now so thank you so much.
