I had a question about breastfeeding i have 2 boys but i just had my 3rd baby boy and i wanted to breastfeed him but when i try to give him my breast he will take it but it hurt its painful when he is latching on i don't know what i am i doing wrong canyou help me? How do i kow if he is getting enough milk?

as for your question, latching can be painful if baby doesn't open up wide enough, as well as it's a bit uncomforable til you get used to it. check out latching videos and getting started nursing info at www.kellymom.com (http://www.kellymom.com)
put baby to the breast every time they make a peep,
count wet diapers, 1 on day 1, 2 day 2, working upwards til 6-8 by a week of age.

can you go see a lactation consultant in person for assistance?
