Hello Ladies! Let me first say that you have helped me tremendously. I have been a BF.com lurker for the past 5 months and have learned so much just by browsing through the forums. I have a great story to share:

Our dept. was recently moved to a new location and we have to share our kitchen area with two other depts. I had just finished pumping and went to the kitchen to clean the pump horns, when a gentleman walked in.

Since I didn't know him, I tried to be as discreet as possible (fearing he would freak out if he knew what I was cleaning) As much as I tried to be discreet, he caught a glance at the horns and asked if I was expressing milk for my baby. I said: "Yes, my ds is exclusively bf at 7 months!" He replied: "good for you and your baby, my wife bf our kids and it is nice to see your efforts. Keep up the good work!"

I was so touched and encouraged by his comment, I just had a great smile on my face for the rest of the day!

That is a great story.

I recently started a new job and I am gone much longer hours and a lot of days cannot pump enough for the baby's next day. I go to different sites and have to pump at the offices, it is uncomfortable and awkward to ask to use someone's office.

The week before last I was at a site and I used an office and then when I was done was packing up my kit and the manager said to me "are you breastfeeding? That's sooo great." It just felt good. It makes you feel like you are not a strange being.
