I've been a lurker and responder on this board for a few months but was hoping you all may know this answer...
... I m/c naturally on 2/10. Stopped bleeding by 2/17 and by 2/20 my count was at 15. Took PG test (as ordered by dr) Monday and it was negative. Today I did an OPK and the lines looked to be the same although light. I am not charting and haven't noticed any CM at all yet. No AF yet.

My ? = could the OPK still detect some HCG left in my system from the m/c and not an indicator of a new surge? I'll do another OPK tomorrow b/c both lines were very light but I was just curious.

Thanks!

It's possible.

My OB always tracks my #'s until they get to 0.

I don't know the answer to your question, just wanted to say, I'm so sorry for your loss.

I've read that opk's are often not accurate after a miscarriage. You can have an LH surge when you don't ovulate in even the most normal of cycles. I was told that many women do not ovulate in that cycle before the first period. I've had four miscarriages and am pretty certain that I did ovulate after them. I even charted for two of them, so I'm more certain for two of them. For the other two, I relied on EWCM and how my body felt. Good luck! I know how stressful ttc after a miscarriage can be.

thanks everyone. My OPK is still showing two lines and yesterday and today the test seemed darker than the control but no really noticeable CM so we'll see. I usually get a few days of positive OPKs so that's not strange but the lines are lighter than usual so who knows? I'm not counting on anything right now and just will wait to see.

thanks again!
