I have had success with Weight Watchers before, and I used to be in the Army. Somehow I have allowed myself to weigh over 200lbs (before my baby). I have lost all but 4 lbs of my baby weight and I am on a mission to lose weight and become a healthier person.
My choices are both financial and what works. WW has a great online program for only $16.95 a month. Bally's is offering me $90 for a year or $9.00 per month for life. I just cant decide.
My new job has me done and home by noon most days. I pay the same for daycare if I pick my dd up at 12 up till 3pm so I could go to the gym on the way home. I am really unmotivated when it comes to exercise, but i know it will make me feel better. Which would you choose WW or Bally's?
Ohhh that's a tough one. I lost all my weight with WW and didn't work out but now I LOVE the gym. My advice...
If you feel you need help in the food department (emotional eating, binging, learning nutrition) WW is the way to go. If you feel you have a handle on that but just need a shot of motivation go Bally's
Hope that helps a little!

i would choose the gym b/c you already *know* ww. You could wing it by yourself, and go to the gym in addition. Also, the gym is cheaper!! You could do both!

I just joined WW last week, and have lost 5.2 pounds. I also workout at the gym. Walking and toning. The WW program I just signed up for is for $9.95 a month with full access to the e-tools. It works for me, and I am learning a lot about food, and that weight loss is mostly mental, its getting over the "cravings" that is working for me the most I think. Also, drinking plenty of water works too. Just thought would offer some advice. Hope it helps.

I would chose Bally's.... like others said, you know the basics about WW. You can always follow other diets and even borrow books from the library.
Once you start working out, you will feel better about yourself and would be concious of your eating habits (as you don't want to undo what you worked so hard for)
I have WW books, if you want info, please feel free to PM me.

food is 80% of weight loss. I love weight watchers. You could always walk outside. That is great exercise and if you have good stroller you don't have to worry about child care.

I am a big fan of WW. I just joined last week. I believe to first tackle the food then the exercise. It is hard to get motivated to go to the gym after working all day.
Good luck

I would chose Bally's. However, I'm not a dieter myself. I prefer to exercise weight off. I feel that exercise adds something extra to my life while dieting takes something away. So, it's much easier for me to stick with exercise. Plus, I feel good as soon as I start exercising more - even before the wieght starts to come off. With exercise, I went from 183 when pg with DS to 96 lbs when he was 18 months. With exercise again but a little less intense, I went from 181 when pg with DD to 100 lbs when she was 15 months. For me, exercise is 100% of weight loss. I do watch portion size and eat healthy, but I do that in general anyways.
