I have a beautiful five-month-old boy, Silas Edison. I am at home with him, but I work several evenings a week as a professional tutor. Since I am continuing to breastfeed him full time most days, I am only able to pump an ounce or two (sometimes three!) in between feedings. An LC told me that was a good amount since I am generally not pumping to replace a feeding, but it takes me 2-3 pumping sessions to produce one bottle of milk. Anyone else in this situation? Were you ever able to pump more, less frequently?

I'm also feeding Silas cereal which requires more pumping...

Thank you for any suggestions.

Those amounts sound about right. There are ways to get a little more, eg., fenugreek, unplugging ducts, etc. Check out this site (http://www.breast-pumping.com/index.html) for more, a lot of great advice on there about getting more milk.
