Sorry to bring this up again, but wanting your thoughts/opinions

Many of you read my previous posts regarding my health and dr. visit - well, AF is not here yet and I still feel preggo! (53 days was my LMP and I don't know how to chart yet so I have no clue when I ovulated). yes, I am depressed, but I don't really feel stressed out and I don't really feel depressed unless I think about things - which I don't most of the time - I have been keeping busy with things I love to do (depressed people don't do that.) So, the dr. did the urine test, but not the blood test - would you ladies call a diff doctor and ask for the blood test of would you just continue to ride it out? WOuld you POAS again? (with Carter I didn't POAS until day 49 and at the dr visit I think it was like day 46 or something?) If I am preggo I would be at least 7 weeks and it would show by now, right? Of course it can all be hormones, but i have never missed a period before - pretty soon it will be TWO missed periods

I think you should find a new dr and get a blood test. good luck hun I am here for you if you need me.

i would you should drop the doc find a midwife and your stress level will drop midwifes trust you unlike docs and they will give you the help you need and if you want a blood test they will get that done for you

Thanks, I don't know where to find a midwife - my coworker sees one, but that is really far away. Might have to though! I know that midwifes say to trust you instincts and tell you that you know your body!
Oh, my dr did take blood, but for other tests - so do they have to "check" for pregnancy or would it show up?

I had midwifes for all 3 of my kids so the same two and I loved them. you know your body the best so if you think you are I would google midwives in your area and find one. good luck hun.

THanks ED - duh me, I google everything else all the time! I found one 45 miles away - I drive that to go shopping so I guess why not for medical care, right?

call them and just tell them you are new and you would really like to get a blood test not a pregnancy test to see whats going on. just tell them your situation. I did this last week then next day got my period. lol
