i'm 33 weeks pregnant and have been experiencing contractions. i had an ultra sound today and they said my amniotic fluid was still in the normal range, but in the low range.
the nurse said to drink more water and they would take another look nect week.
should i be worried?

Don't be too worried right now. Your doc said it's still normal. They will probably keep a closer eye on the situation as your pregancy progresses with frequent ultrasounds.
I had low amniotic fluid with my DS1 but we didn't discover it until I had an ultrasound the day before my due date, so Lord knows how long I unknowingly had low fluid. We ended up being induced that same day.
Low fluid levels can be related to dehydration or some type of abnormal placenta function. The risks to baby ususally involve an increased risk of cord compression or other cord accidents. Like your doc said, drink plenty o'water and just keep doing those fetal kick counts.

It probably wouldn't mean anything to you, I was just curious what your actual AFI was.
