So excited, I ordered my TCOYF book last week and it came today. I skimmed over a few pages so far, and am already learning so much from it. I can't wait to sit and read it throughly.

The pictures are great for showing me what the difference is between the different cervical fluid.

I'm going to love reading this book!

Good for you! I don't own it, but check it out from the library periodically.

And I have to say, that I think it's kinda funny that after all those kids, you are just now reading up on all of this! :p

ETA: Did you happen to get the software too? I'm interested in maybe trying it, but I know I'll get pregnant as soon as I spend the money. On the other hand, maybe that's exactly the reason to do it!

You would think I would know about all this...lol! I never put any thought into how it all works. My mom just told me if I have unprotected sex, I would get pregnant. Now I know it's doesn't always happen that way. And she told me I would have my period every 28 days and such. Well, I have never been like that, and I always thought there was something wrong because I wasn't having a period every 28 days. I sure know better now.

I'm going to teach my girls things from this book, so they will know more about their bodies than I did. I have already told them about their periods and sex, but this book will help me teach them even better. I'm 36 and just now learning about how my body works and charting and I find it amazing.

My book came with a 15 day trial cd. I only paid $23.95 online for it. I ordered it from here.... http://www.early-pregnancy-tests.com/tcoyf.html and I got it a week later.

My mom was the same way. I remember reading the book just prior to conceiving DS and saying to myself "hmmm, so that's why I'm dry some days and totally wet other days", and "oh THAT's what that pain is!".

I know...makes sense to me, the more I read the book. I started reading it last night, and didn't want to stop...lol!

I didn't know that the pain I was feeling was ovulation pain until I started charting and reading about it on FF.

There's a version of this book for teens. I don't remember the name of it but it's written by the same author so maybe you could find it on Amazon. I intend to give it to my DD in a year or two.

Wow, I didn't know they had one for teens, that would for great for them to read over. That way they will be more prepared about what is going on with their bodies than I was as a teen.

Thanks for letting me know.

I remembered. It's called Cycle Savvy: The Smart Teen's Guide to the Mysteries of her Body.

But I've never read it.

ETA: I looked at some of the reviews on Amazon, and it seems like there's a section on helping your teen determine the "right" time to start having sex, including stories of teens who were glad they waited, who were sorry they didn't, and who were glad they did have sex. If this type of education is counter to your personal belief system, perhaps pre-screening might be in order!

Yeah, I will definately check it out before deciding to buy it. Just so I can make sure it's not too graffic for my girls.

Thanks for remembering the tittle for me!
