Ok, Im a SAHM but was pumping w/ my double pump this a.m b/c DH was keeping DS for a few hrs.
During the pumping my nipple (and I guess some of the area around it) seemed to turn whiteish and callous like (and HUGE). I was using a Bailey nurture III pump given to me by WIC on a med. suction and I am normally like a 38DD breast but it totally made my nipple the size of a 50 cent piece (not norm. for me!) and after it was burning and tender(but did eventually go back to normal)...would bigger/ smaller shields be the suggestion? Thanks so much!
