Bfing and Pregnancy ?

Does supply ALWAYS drop when you're pregnant? When does this usually happen? Will baby still be able to thrive on bm during pregnancy?

Not an expert but my baby is almost 18 months and eats solids so doesn't rely on bm for his majority of nutrition. But he is still nursing a lot. I do still have some drops of milk at about 12 and a half weeks but it isn't much. I imagine it's like a taste of it for him. But he needs his baboos a lot still with or without milk! I did notice a drop in supply right away though, before I even knew for sure I was pregnant.

I wouldn't recommend anyone with a baby under the age of a year or even 14-15 months get pregnant since they still need the milk so much then. I wish I had waited until he was 18 months so he could have gotten milk a bit longer but now I just hope he makes it through and gets it again when the new one comes along!
