My son is 9 months old, and I have not breastfed. I regret not and part of me would like to try. I am afraid that it is too late, but I know that some adoptive mothers can make themselves produce milk. I don't even know if he will take the milk.

Its not too late. check out the thread in pumping forum...its called relactation and is very possible!

It might not be too late to relactate. It will be difficult to get him to latch on to you.

Okay so i have a similar question and i dont know how to post a new forum cause im new to this but my baby will be 3 months on oct. 14. I had every intention to breastfeed but with my hormones out of wack and getting used to a new baby i wasn't thinking right so I just quit like 3 days after he was born, the lactation consultant didn't come by in the hospital till the day we left so no help from her. Is it possible get my milk back even if i let it dry up so fast?
