The ones that gave me my first positives, the earliest, were Equates from Wal Mart. I've used just about EVERY kind though....we were TTC#2 forever so truly I've used them ALL!!! I liked the IC's because they were good for the POAS addiction.......I was getting faint lines on those early on as well but never really trusted them. Of course the digi's are the easiest to read! Unfortunately I had used all of mine up before I TRULY got a positive test so I never got to see the word PREGNANT!!!
GOOD LUCK!! I browsed through your other thread....all your pics had disappeared..I couldn't see any of them but sounds like you had some nasty evaps!! That SUX!!! GOOD LUCK though!! I hope you get that BFP soon!!

I bought a bunch from Amazon. A GF used one and it came up with a bright Pos line. Then again, she things she was about 12 weeks along. Was on BCP.
I'm not so sure I trust mine but I will use them before I purchase any more, They expire in December of this year.

I have always had the best luck with the ones from Dollar General. They are about the same ones that they use at the clinic my friend works at

I used answer with my son....AF was a week late. Dollar tree tests with the girls a few days before AF was due. After AF was due I used the EPT digital to confirm.

I only ever use FRER, but am not a testaholic either. If I have symptoms, then I might test 10-11 dpo, otherwise I do not test until 13-14 dpo.

If AF is a week late, than just about any test will do. If you're before 14 DPO, though, a more sensitive test might be called for.

I seriously buy whatever is cheapest and will give me more than 1 test. Usually its the store brand early response & then I buy 1 or 2 digitals (store brand) as well - again the cheapest.

do you think its still too early to get a poistive? I am 13dpo and still negatives.

If you used a FRER with FMU at 13dpo, then most likely you would see something if it were a positive. But there are some instances when people are pg and it doesn't show up on any HPT until AF is a week later, but I don't think that is common.
It also depends on when implantation occurs. Implanatation at 5dpo will give you BFPs much sooner than implantation at 10dpo.

I've been pg 7 times and ttc every time - so that means A LOT of different pregnancy tests! I now stick to First Response Early Result. But, I need to know when I get pg ASAP and I've found that's the best test hands down for early results. Many other tests work well and are cheaper - but the results may not be as clear as quick. That's fine if you don't have a medical (or emotional!) reason for knowing well before your period is due. (Last time I was pg, I knew on 9dpo, which was only cd 21!)

Not that this means anything, but I was waaaayy sicker with my DD than my DS. I will hope for you that this means you are preggo (and with a girl!)

Agreed, kohlby. I also have a medical reason to know ASAP, and I've tried a bunch of different brands--nothing is as accurate early as FRER, although I've noticed that sometimes I have to wait a full 10 minutes for an early +.

I normally buy the equate brand, but sometimes I would buy the digital kind.

I used the least expensive kind! Equate or something from the dollar store. With the last pregnancy, the positive was very faint. I was about 6 weeks along.

Here is a really good website that I used when I was a surrogate; www.peeonastick.com
All of the pregnancy tests out there are listed and this site gives you some real good info on when to use them and how strong certain tests (including OPKs) are.

I used a test from our local dollar store, and it showed faintly faintly positive at 9 DPO. But I've heard they have bad evaps so I didn't trust it.
I used FRER to confirm -- that's what I used with my first pg too.
