Gym Memberships??

Wondering who has a gym membership and what ya pay?

We are thinking of joining ($60 sign up and $50 a month per person NO contract) bc we live in Canada and its so hard to get outside to jog or anything.


Just looking for opinions. I'm 8wks PP w/ DC2 and wanting an outlet for stress. If weight loss comes that'd be GREAT too...wanna be healthier. Thanks for the info.

The closest place for us is the Y, and that's a town away, so 35 minutes. Nope, not feasible. I simply exercise at home, I'm a T-Tapper.

WHat is T tappin red? Doing it at home would be MUCH better money wise. we live in a small apt. tho so w/e I'd do would have to be compact. Thanks for any ideas

I lost 5 dress sizes doing it. No equipment needed. You need a 4 ft. space to do it, that's it!

I just rejoined Bally Total Fitness. I hated it at first $75 start up and I did the $29 per month but could only go specific days per week. I quit when I found out I was pg with dd now over a year ago.


Two months ago, they sent me a free 60 day trial and then $9 per month for life with autopay. So if you join, then quit, they will offer you something better.

I have a Curves membership. It is almost $600.00 for a year & I joined in October when there was a discount on the sign-up fee. (Not sure what it would be w/out the discount.) Curves is the 30 min. circuit training. Doesn't burn huge amount of calories, but it's quick & does get me active & help motivate me to make other good choices food & excercise wise.
