Done Breastfeeding??

i breastfed my baby boy for about a month, and now i switched to formula. It's just too hard to BF and got to school and work and everything. My question is what do i do now with my boobs?

Pump and give him breastmilk in a bottle?

I would also recommend pumping. The benefits outway formula. YOu should get in touch with a LC and stick with it the best you can. You can make it work. Keep trying!!! Good luck

i agree, Do you realize you can give formula while you are away from baby and nurse when you are together??

Yeah, good idea to use the formula while you are at school/work and nurse when you are together!!

Bad idea to do formula AND breastmilk, don't mix it. Just pump and give it to your baby while you're gone, and then your breast when you're home =] That's what I am going to do, and I am going to be doing Volleyball and School.

Not sure the exact reason why, but my lactation consultant told me never to mix the two. She seemed pretty serious about it. I think I am going to call her and ask her that question!

i didnt mean mix per se just ff when apart n nurse when together

we all know breastfeeding is best but if you have reached a point that you are done breastfeeding and you want to dry up but cabbage leafs on your breast and you will dry up. the time that you did breastfeed helped any is better then none if you are in high school it is very hard to pump.
