My twin boys were born at 35 weeks, 5 days and are now a month old with their due date tomorrow. We've seen an LC many times and they just struggle with BFing due to latch problems. I have been exclusively pumping for the last week. I am wondering if it matters how many times a day I am pumping. I was shooting for 8-10, but yesterday I only got in 7 and got 5 more oz. than I ever have. Today I've pumped 4 times and already have almost 40 oz. If I could cut a pumping out a day that would be great. What do you recommend??

I wouldn't cut it...your breasts work on a supply and demand system. If you drop one pumping or nursing session then your body will adjust and stop producing that amount of milk for the cut session.

Good luck with nursing your twins, I truly hope you are sucessful. My boys were born at 34 weeks and never learned to latch on. I pumped exclusively for over a month, but ended up FF, due to lack of help (my ex-SO was no help and taking care of a 2 year old, newborn twins plus pumping around the clock is exhausting!)

HI
I have no advice for you sorry
I hope it gets easier for you

I b/f twins born at 34 weeks but I didn't have any problems

They latched on at 4 days old & stayed there for 12mths (I didn't do any pumping after that either) I only punped in the first 4 days so they could be tube fed

I wouldn't cut it because it will disrupt your milk supply for your two LO's. Congrats on your babies.

The best is to follow Doc's advices regarding those.. :D
