Hi im new here, hi!

I was reading one of the new threads here and now Im worried about whats being said...

My daughter is four weeks as of today and three weeks ago i started working out again,

half-an-hour jogging daily

but now this weekend came and my brother in-law introduced me to "turbo jam". I dont know if you guys have seen it on t.v at all but its simualr to "hip hop abs" I ve brought it to my routine workout on sunday. Im sticking to it, (45mins) three times a week (love it , its great)

but now the question is, does all this working out do something to my breastmilk?

Aside from the fact that you have way more energy than I ever could've dreamt at 4 weeks post-partum, I don't think it'll do anything to your milk supply.

No kidding, mine is 15 months next week and I'm just starting to get my energy back.

St.Elmo and I are both doing Turbo Jam and breastfeeding. It hasn't decreased my supply. I don't know about her, but she hasn't mentioned anything like that. I just have to make sure I am drinking enough water to help keep up my supply and to replace what I sweat out.

Your body is still healing, so don't be too hard on yourself.

Ive done a bit of online research on this, and no way does exercising decrease your supply. Even if you exercised to the maximum, it would not affect your supply, the only effect would be a slight increase in lactic acid content of your milk with no harm to your supply or baby
